Christmas Day is nearly here! Hurrah! So, having already whipped up a collection of beauty must-haves for Christmas Eve, I thought I’d share with you my make up favourites for a simple – but festive – Christmas Day look.

Keeping the base nice and simple, I’ve opted for the Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Tinted Balma lightweight product that sits somewhere between a light cover foundation and a tinted moisturiser. It covers pretty much every and all blemish, without feeling too heavy on the skin. Perfect for a day of present opening and eating…!

To add a natural winter flush, I turn once again to the MAC Temperature Rising Powder Blush in Hot Nights, a super pigmented product which adds the perfect hot pink tint to cheeks and, as an added bonus, this bad boy hangs around all day long – from stocking opening to that last night cap.

Going for a pink-toned bronze theme with the eye – natural and subtle – I’ve turned to the Maybelline 24 Hour Colour Tattoo in Rose Gold and the By Terry Ombre Blackstar in Bronze MoonBoth apply quickly and easily, remain crease-free throughout a day’s wear and have a long-lasting formula that will ensure your make up stays fresh throughout the day.

Add to that an amazingly natural lash lift in the form of the Ellis Faas Mascara in Black and you’ve got yourself the perfect festive eye.

And what would Christmas Day beauty be without a festive red lip? Returning to an old favourite once again, I’ve chosen the Lancome L’Absolu Rouge in Topaze Ecstasy. This pinky red has just the tiniest bit of shimmer to it and feels delightfully moisturising on the lips. An all-round winner in my eyes.

What make up will you guys be rocking come Christmas Day?
